Overview
ScopeViewer uses exclusively those cookies and comparable storage mechanisms that are strictly necessary to provide the service requested by the user (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG / Art. 5 (3) ePrivacy Directive). No consent is required for these cookies; they cannot be deselected without losing the usability of the application.
No tracking, analytics, advertising or third-party cookies are used. There is no cookie banner because no consent-requiring cookies are present.

Local storage mechanisms (not cookies)
To prevent data loss during in-progress uploads and to retain user settings, the application uses the browser-internal localStorage and sessionStorage, in particular for: upload progress of individual files, viewer tool and view settings. This data remains exclusively in the user's browser and is not transmitted to the provider.
Browser management
Cookies stored in the browser can be viewed and deleted at any time via the browser settings. Deleting strictly necessary cookies (in particular sv_token) will require a new login.
